Cartier: elegant, sophisticated, and stylish, far from where the design was inspired – a military vehicle, but there’s more to what’s outside. It speaks of power and influence. That is why it’s no surprise that it’s been a preference of politicians, movie stars, royals, and other people who can afford it. Cartier, the company behind this timepiece, is the preferred supplier of jewelry and watches by royalties around the globe.
The original release in 1918 became the signature look for this timepiece. This look is made of the Roman numeral hours, blue steel hands, minutes marked by rectangle tank tread lines, and a convex sapphire placed into the crown. Most importantly, the rectangular shape- the case. Louis Cartier’s creation – deployment buckle is utilized as the watchband.
This tank watch is no longer available in the market. However, the current production offers six different collections. Let us check them out!
